My xtranormal experience
This is a fun site to explore and create your very own animated cartoon. It required a little more reading and practice to be comfortable with navigating the features included in the Script-to-Scene section. I personally had a little trouble at first with the animations but the drag and drop feature made my experience a little less frustrating. I would rate this site from a scale of 1 to 10 a rating 7.

Gliffy assignment
For this assignment, I had explored the various applications provided by this website. Gliffy offers an array of templates to help users create graphic organizers and other visual aids. This site has many applications for all sorts of needs. It offers everything from custom floor plans to Mindmaps. The site is very helpful but I had a difficult time navigating through it all. It was difficult to follow and the help options did not make it easier. This site would be perfect for users who are familiar with sites such as Gliffy. I would rate this site a 4 because it felt it was not user-friendly.

Slideshow
In this assignment I had explored several photo sharing sites such as Rockyou.com, Picturetrail and Slide.com. these sites were very interesting and had many great features that enhances your slidshow. I had started on Rockyou.com, but i ran into some trouble embedding my slideshow to post on my blog. I then decided to tryout another site. On slide.com, i was then able to get what i wanted for my slideshow. The features are similar and both are fairly easy to navigate. In the end i chose slide.com to create my slideshow. This site is excellent for teachers to use for creating a slideshow of their students classroom experiences or school events. I would definitely rate this site as an 8 for the beautiful slideshow that anyone can create with a little time.
Weebly -- Online Portfolio
Weebly
For this post, i had created a user account using Weebly's free online service to create my online portfolio. My portfolio included basic information about myself including my educational background, experiences, awards and other interests. The website is easy to use and provides templates for creating a portfolio online. The weebly assignment for my Educational Technology class was fun and i had learned a lot from this experience. I would definitely be using this site for myself or my students in the future. There are many applications to this site that would enhance student learning as well as the quality of the student's work. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this site as a 7.
Webquest -- "Money Makes the World Go Round"
"Money Makes the World Go Round" Webquest
For this assignment we are to create a webquest using Zunal.com and submit at least one lesson plan along with the resources and worksheets. This assignment was a bit time consuming since we had to post up a working lesson plan with all the trimmings. This site was not too easy to work on, but the way it was organized allowed me to navigate my way through it. With a little time, i was able to get a short lesson on money online along with all the required parts to make my lesson ready-to-use. This site would be helpful to teachers and students as well since teachers can post online their own lessons. This is a site that allows teachers to share their lessons and other resources they feel is helpful to other educators. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it as a 6 and that is because this was my first attempt at using this site.

Rubistar
For this assignment we explored the website Rubistar as well as create a rubric using the features provided on this site. The site was somewhat easy to use however the advanced features were difficult for a first-time user like me to use. This assignment was worth the time since i actually had used one of the templates provided with little modification on my part. I would recommend this site for teachers to utilize since it provides some ideas for making rubrics for all subjects at the very least. I would rate this site a 5.

A fan of Smart boards
I had recently attended a presentation on Nov. 26 at GTC Elementary School on Smartboards and Clickers. The presentation was conducted by Ms. Soledad Camacho and was attended by several of my fellow education students. An open invitation was extended to me by my instructor Mr. John Jenkins and i gladly attended since i had never heard of a smart til that time. I was glad i went since i am now fascinated with this technology and i had so many ideas for it in my future classroom. I am very fortunate to be in a classroom that has a smartboard when i start my student teaching practicum in the Spring of next year. The presentation has familiarized me with its basic uses and i will definitely be learning more when i begin working with Ms. Ornes at Marianas High School in January.
